PRECAUTIONS FOR PHYSICAL EXAMINATION
 
Drinking and Diet
  • For the 3 days prior to the examination, maintain a normal diet. Avoid greasy foods, animal organs, blood products such as chicken or duck blood, and high-protein foods that are difficult to digest. Do not consume alcohol.
  • After 20:00 on the night before the examination, do not eat anything. After 22:00, refrain from drinking water.
  • On the morning of the examination, do not eat or drink anything to maintain an empty stomach.

 

Medications
  • If the package includes a C13 breath test, do not take antibiotics, bismuth preparations, proton pump inhibitors, or other medications that are sensitive to Helicobacter pylori testing within one month prior to the examination.
  • Do not take medications that may harm liver or kidney function within 3 days prior to the examination.

 

On the Day of the Examination
  • If the examinee is currently taking medications for chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, or asthma, do not discontinue the medication on the day of the examination. Take the medication with a small amount of water.
  • For women: During menstruation, do not collect urine or stool samples. Postpone transvaginal ultrasound and gynecological examinations until three days after the end of the menstrual period.
  • Women who are planning to conceive, pregnant, or possibly pregnant should inform the medical staff in advance. Avoid X-ray, CT, or other radiological examinations. Gynecological and transvaginal ultrasound examinations during pregnancy should also be avoided.
  • Inform the doctor of your pregnancy or fertility plans before undergoing other tests to ensure accurate medical judgment.
  • Transvaginal ultrasound is limited to married women or those who have had sexual intercourse. Unmarried women should not undergo gynecological examinations. It is recommended to empty the bladder before the examination.
  • For cervical smear tests, do not perform vaginal douching or use vaginal medications starting three days before the examination to ensure accurate results.
I. Appointment for Physical Examination
  • Customers may select the date, time and location for their health check when purchasing the health check package. If Customers do not select the date and time for their health check at the time of purchase, they need to contact RICI HEALTH CHECKUP to make an appointment (Contact phone: +86 4001688188; WeChat: +86 15601761306).
  • Upon arrival, the staff of RICI HEALTH CHECKUP will verify the customer's name, date of birth, mobile number, and the email confirming successful purchase from health.ESDlife.
  • If customer want to reschedule the order, please contact contact RICI HEALTH CHECKUP at least 1 days in advance (Contact phone: +86 4001688188; WeChat: +86 15601761306).
  • The validity period of the health check packages is 3 months.Customers must undergo the relevant checkup within 3 months from the date of confirmed payment. After expiration, it will be considered void.
  • During the health check, if customer encounters a doctor who does not speak Cantonese,RICI HEALTH CHECKUP can arrange for medical staff to accompany and provide translation services.
  • If there are any discrepancies or inconsistencies among the Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and English versions of the merchant page and the health check package pages, the Traditional Chinese version shall prevail.

 

II. Retrieval and Explanation of Report

  • The health check report is provided in simplified Chinese.
  • The health check report will be completed within 5-7 working days after the health check and the customer will be notified via SMS. Customers can choose the following methods to view the health check report:
    • Email: Provide an email address, and RICI HEALTH CHECKUP will send the report to the customer's email upon completion.
    • Mail: Provide a mailing address, and Ruici Medical Checkup will mail the report with postage collect (available for delivery to Hong Kong and Macau).
    • In-person collection: Visit the medical checkup center to pick up the report after completion. A free printed copy of the report is available.
  • After the health check report is finished, customers can schedule a doctor to explain the report through the following channels:
    • WeChat explanation: Customers need to schedule a specific time via WeChat or phone call at least 1 day in advance (Phone numbers: +86 4001688188; WeChat: +86 15601761306). The doctor will add the customer on WeChat and provide the explanation via WeChat.
    • Telephone explanation: Customers need to schedule a specific time via WeChat or phone call at least 1 day in advance (Phone numbers: +86 4001688188; WeChat: +86 15601761306). The doctor will call the customer at the scheduled time for explanation.
    • Face-to-face explanation: Customers need to schedule a specific time via WeChat or phone call at least one day in advance (Phone numbers: +86 4001688188; WeChat: +86 15601761306), customer should go to the health check center at the appointed time to listen to the doctor's face-to-face explanation.
