Yunshan Medical Health Check Notice
Before The Health Check:
1. Maintain a normal diet three days prior to the check-up, avoid alcohol, and refrain from strenuous exercise; have a regular dinner the day before and follow a light diet. For some tests (such as venous blood sampling, abdominal ultrasound, and carbon-13 breath test), fasting and no water intake for 8-12 hours is required.
2. Please arrive at Yunshan Medical on the day of your physical examination according to the scheduled time to undergo a health check-up (remember to fast for at least 6-8 hours before the examination to ensure accurate blood test results). Do not take any medication on the day of the examination (except for blood pressure or blood sugar lowering medications), and do not bring any valuable items such as gold, silver, or jade jewelry.
3. Upon arrival at the outpatient department, please register at the front desk and fill out the “Health Check Information Form.”
4. If you are planning to have a baby, please inform the medical staff in advance. We will not arrange for you to have an X-ray examination.
5. Do not wear contact lenses during non-contact tonometry.
6. It is recommended to wear running shoes for the exercise stress test (this is a non-fasting item, and the test duration is approximately 15 to 20 minutes).
During The Health Check:
7. Please approach the check-up with a calm mindset and avoid nervousness. Answer the doctor’s questions truthfully, including any past illnesses and family medical history, to facilitate a comprehensive analysis and assessment of your health check results.
8. Infants and adolescents should avoid X-ray examinations or undergo them under a doctor’s guidance.
9. After venous blood sampling, loosen your fist and apply pressure to the puncture site with a bandage for five minutes. Do not rub the area or remove the bandage too early to prevent local bleeding or hematoma formation.
10. If you experience any discomfort or pain during the examination, inform the doctors and nurses immediately to prevent any accidents.
After The Health Check:
11. Please read your health check report carefully and follow the doctor’s advice. Accept follow-up visits from the doctor and promptly undergo further examinations, follow-up visits, or treatment as needed.
12. If you have any questions about the health check results or experience any other discomfort, feel free to call us for consultation (the phone number is detailed on the last page of the health check report). We are committed to serving you.
