Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) causes respiratory tract infections such as infection of the airway, lungs and middle ear. The symptoms depend on the severity of disease. Symptoms of mild illness include mild fever runny nose, cough, headache, sore throat. Severe symptoms include breathing difficulty and wheezes. The virus can be transmitted by direct contact with infectious secretions, by droplets spread, or indirectly through contaminated hands, eating utensils or articles freshly soiled by nasal or throat discharges of an infected person.

Highlights:

· Overall effectiveness in protecting against lower respiratory tract disease (LRTD) caused by RSV - 82.6%

· Efficacy in protection against RSV LRTD in patients with at least 1 comorbidity of interest* - 94.6%

*Comorbidities of interest: COPD, asthma, any chronic respiratory/pulmonary disease, chronic heart failure, diabetes mellitus, advanced liver or renal disease

Terms & Conditions

1. Doctor's consultation is included. If customer is assessed to be not suitable for vaccination, the fee will be refunded subject to a deduction of doctor’s consultation fee at HK$300.

2. This vaccination service is applicable to individuals aged 60 or above.

3. This vaccination is only available at designated Quality HealthCare Medical Centre(s) as shown above.

4. Customers must present their identity cards and order confirmation letter (printed or e-version) on the appointment day for verification.

5. The vaccination service is valid for 6 months starting from the date of payment.

6. Save and except for the circumstance as stipulated under Clause 1 above, no amendment or refund to the service ordered is allowed once payment is confirmed. All services cannot be resold, transferred, or used for commercial purposes without explicit written consent of Quality HealthCare.

7. In case of disputes, the decision of Quality HealthCare Medical Services Limited shall be final.

Quality HealthCare – Health check up packages terms and conditions

• Quality HealthCare will contact the customer within 3 working days after successful payment. Customers can also call hotline at 8100 8138 / Whatsapp 8301 8301 for booking.
• Customers must present their identity cards and order confirmation letter or email on the appointment day.
• Physical check up plan is applicable to people aged 18 or above only.
• Physical check up plan is not applicable on Sunday and Public Holidays.
• Eye examination is not applicable on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
• The plan will be valid for 6 months starting from the date of payment.
• Check Up Report: After the health check up, it usually takes about 7-14 working days to process the inspection report.  Working days do not include Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.  This time frames are for guidelines only & do not reflect the actual time might be needed (e.g. the timeframe might change depend on the individual test has taken or specific timeslot requested by the customer).
• Amendment or cancellation is not allowed once the payment is confirmed, and is not transferable and refundable.

Quality HealthCare – Vaccination (Flu Vaccine excluded)

• Customers must present their identity cards and order confirmation letter or email on the appointment day.
• The plan will be valid for 6 months starting from the date of payment.
• Amendment or cancellation is not allowed once the payment is confirmed, and is not transferable and refundable.
• Hepatitis antigen and antibody report issued in last 3 months must be presented prior to Hepatitis vaccination. Extra fee for blood test will be applied if you cannot present a valid report.
• Doctor's consultation is included prior to the 1st dose of vaccine. Doctor’s consultation fee of HK$300 applies if patient is not suitable for the vaccine injection after Doctor's consultation.
• In case of disputes, the decision of health.ESDlife shall be final.
• All tests are not for the purpose of medical diagnosis or treatment.

• The provision of any vaccines shall be subject to availability, which may not be guaranteed after the purchase or appointment made. 

• Vaccination is not applicable to Jordan (Diagnostic & Imaging Centre).

Quality HealthCare – Eye Check

• Quality HealthCare will contact the customer within 3 working days after successful payment. Customers can also call physical check-up hotline at 8100 8138 for booking.
• The physical check-up plan is available at designated Quality HealthCare Physical Check-up Centres.
• Customers must present their identity cards and order confirmation letter (printed or e-version) on the appointment day.
• This product is applicable to people aged 3 or above only. 
• Physical check-up plan is not applicable on Sundays and Public Holidays.
• The redemption will be valid for 6 months starting from the date of payment.
• All tests are not for the purpose of medical diagnosis or treatment.
• In case of disputes, the decision of health.ESDlife shall be final.

Quality HealthCare – Traditional Chinese Medicine

• After successful payment, customers can call designed Quality HealthCare Chinese Medicine Centre for appointment during working hours
• Chinese medicine treatment is applicable at designed Quality HealthCare Chinese Medicine Centre.
• All treatments are valid for 3 months after purchase.
• Prior appointment is required and services are non-transferrable.
• Whole package must be completed in the designated centres and by designated TCM practitioner.
• If a person aged 18 or younger wishes to receive treatment, the parent or guardian must sign a consent form prior to the treatment.
• This treatment does not include Chinese herbal medicine for consumption or additional Chinese herbal medicine, which shall be charged separately.
• This treatment can be used at designated Quality Healthcare Chinese Medicine Centres and prior appointment of at least 2 days in advance by customer after purchase is required:  Kwun Tong Millennium City 5 and Tseung Kwan O Pop Walk 2.
• The redemption will be valid for 6 months starting from the date of payment.
• In case of disputes, the decision of health.ESDlife shall be final.
