Shenzhen Zhongshan Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital was founded in 1986 by an expert team from the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. It is one of the earliest high-level medical institutions in Shenzhen. In 1997, the team led by Professor Zhuang Guanglun, known as the "Father of In Vitro Fertilization in China", successfully created Shenzhen's first generation I and generation II test-tube babies here, pioneering local assisted reproductive technology and establishing a leading position in the industry.

In 2003, due to the merger of colleges and hospitals, it was renamed Shenzhen Zhongshan Urological Hospital, focusing on the development of assisted reproductive specialties. In 2005, it was awarded the title of "Hong Kong People's Trusted Hospital" by Shenzhen Special Zone Daily, highlighting its influence in cross-border medical services. In 2023, to strengthen specialist collaboration, it was officially renamed Shenzhen Zhongshan Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital, deepening the integrated development of obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive fields.

Since the birth of Shenzhen's first generation I IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) in 1998 and the first ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) baby in 1999, it has continued to lead technological development. Currently, the embryo transfer success rate has stabilized at an internationally advanced level of 65%, and as of 2025, over 43,000 test-tube babies have been born here.

The Reproductive Immunology Diagnosis and Treatment Center has achieved remarkable results in the treatment of recurrent miscarriages and repeated embryo implantation failures, with a pregnancy preservation success rate as high as 90%, ranking among the leading levels in China. After receiving the email confirming successful purchase from health.ESDlife, Shenzhen Zhongshan Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital will contact the customer to schedule the time and location for the health check within 1-2 working days during office hours. Upon arrival, the staff of Shenzhen Zhongshan Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital will verify the customer's name, date of birth, mobile number, and the email confirming successful purchase from health.ESDlife.

The validity period of the health check packages is 3 months. Customers must undergo the relevant checkup within 3 months from the date of confirmed payment. After expiration, it will be considered void.
During the health check, if customers encounter a doctor who does not speak Cantonese, Shenzhen Zhongshan Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital can arrange for medical staff to accompany and provide translation services.
If there are any discrepancies or inconsistencies among the Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and English versions of the merchant page and the health check package pages, the Traditional Chinese version shall prevail.

II. Retrieval and Explanation of Report

The health check report will be completed within 5-7 working days after the health check. Shenzhen Zhongshan Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital provides health check reports in Simplified Chinese:
1. The paper version needs to be collected in person at the hospital (convenient for doctors to answer questions on site).

After the report is completed, customers can schedule an appointment with a doctor to explain the report. The following channels are available:
